2027 Summer Internship
St. Louis, MO
Internship
Open
Student (College)
Goodwin Brothers Construction is seeking out motivated candidates looking to gain valuable experience towards building a career in the construction industry. Over the course of our 10-12 week summer internship program, you will gain insight into how complex heavy civil and industrial projects are bid, managed, and executed.
Throughout the summer, you will work with different departments within our St. Louis or Kansas City office, focusing mainly on project management, estimating and safety. Some days may consist of helping a Project Manager complete a cost tracking report, while others may have you assisting an Estimator in putting together subcontractor pricing for a bid. Another day may have you out on a job during an all-day concrete pour tracking production rates. We hope that this holistic approach helps you determine the career path you want to pursue in the construction industry.
Beyond the day-to-day tasks, we want our interns to be involved in long-term projects that improve our own processes. Former interns have helped us put together past project activity summaries, developed new concrete tracking techniques, and built out a personnel schedule to show overlaps and gaps in Superintendent availability. This project can be whatever you make it to be and is the perfect opportunity to take initiative and make a permanent positive impact on Goodwin Brothers.
